Basic salsa
No other dance in the world has the cultural heritage of Salsa. The dance had its beginnings in Cuba, where the local dance was mixed with European and African dances and beats to create a unique dance experience. The dance quickly spread throughout Latin America and eventually made its way to North America where it came to be known as "Salsa" to describe the variety of music of Hispanic origin that's identified with the dance. Salsa has grown in popularity since then, embraced by the denizens of the world, and even in Singapore. Perhaps its origins gave the salsa dancing enthusiasts its defining characteristic, a sense of community that's celebrates variety. WE at UIZO celebrate that same sense of diversity as we allow our students to interact with their fellow enthusiasts, with learning activities that helps them make lots of friends while learning Salsa's funky and sexy dance steps. Learn to sweep her off her feet or charm him with your sexy moves to hot rhythmic Latin beats!
